Roberto F. Soto, M.D.
Chief Medical Officer and Founder
Dr. Soto completed his undergraduate studies at Georgetown University where he received a BS in Biology in 1986. He attended Yale University School of Medicine where he graduated in 1990. Dr. Soto was the first resident to complete a dual residency in Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology in the United States in 1995 and he is a diplomate of the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and of the American Board of Radiology. He served as chief resident for two years and held a position as clinical instructor for nuclear medicine at the University of Miami. From 1995 to 1999, Dr. Soto practiced Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine in Pennsylvania where he helped develop an MRI center and a Nuclear Medicine department. Prior to joining Precision Imaging, Dr. Soto practiced at Diagnostic Medical Imaging, P.A in Silver Spring, Maryland where he focused on CT, MRI and PET imaging services. Dr. Soto is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Society of Nuclear Medicine, the Academy of Molecular Imaging, the Radiological Society of North America and the American Society of Neuroradiology.
